Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These terms govern your use of SonaKhata (“SonaKhata”, “we”, “us”) — a subscription software service for jewellery businesses, available at sonakhata.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

SonaKhata provides cloud-based shop-management software (billing/POS, inventory, customers, udhaar, karigar, girvi, schemes, repairs, reports and related features). Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.

2. Your account & responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account and staff logins. You must comply with applicable laws, including tax and hallmarking regulations, when using the service.

3. Subscriptions, billing & plans

The service is offered on prepaid monthly, 6-month or yearly plans. Charges are in INR and are billed in advance for the chosen term. Prices and plan features may change with reasonable notice. When you upgrade mid-term, the change is prorated (you pay only the difference for the remaining days). Refunds and cancellations are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security or access other shops’ data, no reselling or reverse-engineering the software, and no uploading of unlawful content.

5. Your data & privacy

Your business data belongs to you. We process it to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data (e.g. GST/Tally reports) and may request deletion of your account.

6. Intellectual property

The SonaKhata software, brand and content are owned by us. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your business during your subscription.

7. Availability & changes

We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, improve or modify features over time.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid for the period in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or non-payment. On termination you can export your data for a reasonable period.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction.
